Snowday on Monday

I wish it was summer. There was green grass to be rolled in (and chewed on), leaves to be chased, chipmunks to be watched. Then this white stuff came. And it is really cold on my paws. And I want to go inside now, Human Bean.

Helping with Chores

A couple days ago, wind broke off a branch from our tree. So, like a good cat, I decided it was my duty to help the human bean drag it off the lawn. And, just to remind my human bean, that even though it's important to have a clean lawn, playing with me comes first. (Can I get an amen on that?)

To make sure the branch behaved, I bit it into submission.

And I got bark in my mouth in the process. Pleah!

See the flying snow?

Neither rain, nor sleet.....

nor snow will keep the post office from delivering the mail? Not last Saturday! On Saturday, the sky dumped TONS of snow on us. And the roads weren't plowed, so the mail person couldn't deliver our mail to our mail box at the end of the driveway. I don't really blame her, since the snow was blowing so hard!

Anyhow, some of the flyers we were supposed to get on Saturday were already outdated, since Sat's mail got delivered today. Oh well. There's no great deals on cat toys in here, anyway. *sigh*

They're BACK!

Those corn-stealer people are back!

Shoo! Go Away! Virgil, I may need some back-up....

*later* Thank goodness, they're gone now! I must have scared them off again. Now I can jump down from the fence.

Wacky Wednesday

Snow certainly doesn't bother me when I'm playing!

Almost got it!

I'll get you yet!

And you thought you could escape, eh? Nom, nom....

I guess I kinda abandon myself. The rest of the time, I don't really care for snow.

Two Milestones!

Hi everybuddy! I have a big milestone today. It's my 200th post!

And, we have another little milestone today. It snowed for the first time this season! It wasn't big flakes, but more like ice/snow pellets. All of the snow melted by noon, though. It was also windy today, so it made me really giddy when I was outside this evening.

Bye-Bye Snow!

Yay! The snow is melting and it actually was 40 degrees F today! I want spring sooo bad. Do you still have snow at your house?

Since it was so warm, I took the human out of the house and directed some picture-taking. The flashy box and I have an agreement that the flashy box would not take any pictures of me for my blog today. So, here is a non-Danielle picture for your enjoyment.

This is going to be a furry tough weekend, with it being so nice and all.
I can feel the pressure building up already....Actually, not!

Wordy Wednesday

Yesterday I had alot of fun playing in the snow! My human was throwing snowballs for me to run after and try to pounce on. I got a good work out. I rolled in the snow, hid behind the drifts, and tried to catch little balls of snow. I even jumped up to try to catch a couple snowballs. I was thoroughly enjoying myself trying to leap and catch at the same time, when horror of all horrors, I jumped up too far and got a snowball in my face!!! Now, you must understand my human wasn't trying to hit me, but getting snow in the face was  humiliating. I scammpered into the house. Then my human came in, brushed the snow off my face, and gave me cuddles.

Fortunately, the flashy box wasn't there to broadcast my unhappy face I made after the snow event. Whew!

On a new topic, here is a picture I got from a friend...
All together, now...

AWWW!!!

My Snow Day

Today the human bean and I were exploring out-of-doors. I kinda like playing in the snow, now that I'm used to it and I've gotten encouragement to play in it. Now the flashy beast is after me. Gotta run!

Wheee!!! Uh oh, BRAKE PROBLEMS!!! *crash*

The thing is, when I'm running, I can't tell where the pond ice starts and the concrete ends. Hence, my dilemma.

The Fourth of Decembbbuuuurrrrr

Today something strange happened. When I woke up, this cold white powder was all over everything outside. The beans call it " SNOW ". I've never experienced snow ever before in my life! We have ALOT of snow. In fact, we have TOO MUCH SNOW. I know all the huskies who read this will be drooling over the thought of snow, but I stayed inside on my new cat bed. I did go outside for a while to check things out, though. Since the bean is super paranoid about the flashy beast getting frozen, it did not come outside and bother me while I was exploring. (HAPPY DAY!)

What do you do on snow days? (That is, if you get snow where you live.)

Not Now! (*whine*)

What are the weather beans on the noise box thinking? We do not need snow flurries. I have never been in snow, but according to my bean, it is furry cold. I do not appreciate cold. I do have socks, but they are not any more insulating than the rest of my fur. Do you like snow?
