Drumming Rain

We had a big shower of rain this afternoon. Boy, was it loud. Being that my house's roof is made of tin, that especially amplified it. I was on the verge of going nuts. When the rain gets really loud, my human bean will hold me and keep me calm. But, the rain today let up quickly, so that was good. I also should be glad that the guinea pig, Jasmine, didn't add to the racket. She can be very annoying.

Uh oh, If it rains, then the grass will grow, and if the grass grows, you know what that means! The grass cutter monster will be prowling.

To the cats that have just meet me, I hope you don't think less of me because I'm slightly phobic. :)

  4. I am terrified of thunder and hail. I have to hide under the bed when that happens.

  6. Danielle,
I don't like storms at all. If you add rain on a tin roof, you'd find me under the bed which would be a challenge since I don't really fit.

You are a very pretty kitty!
We are not too afraid of big boomers.Maybe that's because there are a lot of silly beans around here who set off fireworks!! We hear booms all the time, but we do not let it spoil our naps, heehee

  13. Hi Danni! We too came from Huffle's blog to say hello. You're a pretty kitty!

Don't worry about being skeered of the loud noise...we all have loud noises we don't like. We're not much bothered by loud rain or storms (good thing, we've had storms some these past few days too), but we can see where the tin roof would make the continual rain very much louder and skeery! We don't think we'd like that either.

  14. Huffle is a good kitty and a great one to know.
She helped me out a lot when I was real upset with my dog, Stella. I am not scared of storms but Stella goes nutz. My Mom calls her the velcro dog when it storms because she sticks right by Mom.
