Hitting Circular Objects with Fat Sticks

Lately, I've been spying on my human beans' activity in the yard. Yesterday, they were hitting a ball around. I plopped down on the ground for awhile and watched them. I found it very fascinating.

Bean # 1 would throw a circular object at bean number 2.

Bean #2 (my special bean)would attempt to hit the ball with a thick stick.

If Bean #2 hit the circular object, Bean #3 would try to catch the circular object in a glove.
Then, they would do it all over again.

My special bean told me that if you are really good at hitting the circular object with the thick stick, you could earn a lot of green paper.

To me, there would seem to be a lot easier ways to earn green paper. Humans can be kind of queer.

  2. Ha roo, Danielle! I"m Stormy of the Army of Four (Ao4). Huffle sent me; she and Zim, my pack-mate/brother are bestest friends.
I'm also black and white and don't like to pose for the camera! :)
Our dad plays a game involving a small white ball about the size of a mousie and different sticks with things on the ends. He carries them in a bag. Apparently, the object of the game is to hit the ball as few times as possible. So... why hit it at all? I mean.... ???

  3. Playing with a ball we understand perfectly. And we would problaby catch it before any bean could even think about hitting it.
But where's the fun in green paper? That part we don't understand.

  8. Hi Cats in trees!

What I meant by "if you were really good at hitting the circular object with the thick stick, you could earn a lot of green paper" is that pro baseball players make alot of money.

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

We are a family of cats, mostly elderly, of all colors and all rescues. We came over from Huffle's site to say hello and wish you a good weekend.

  13. Hi Danielle, Huffle sent us to say hi - our Mom says if you think that game is dumb, you should see the one where the men beans chase each other all over the field and knock each other down to try to stop the one with the ball from going too far down the field.
