The Windy City (No, I'm not In Chicago)

For the past few days, it's been really windy here. My bean was playing with me when we were outside, and then the wind started blowing. I made a beeline for inside. Oops, I almost wrote "beanline". I type the word "bean" too much. It was blowing some of the leaves off the trees before they are supposed to come off. It was windy enough to blow my socks off and blow dirt in the field. Yes, I do have socks. See? :)
What do you do when it's windy?

  1. Hi Danielle - you have very cute socks! My kitty Virgil thinks you are super cute (I think he has a crush on you)- he has socks too!

Since we live right outside the Windy City of Chicago, and it has been windy here lately it has the kitties all stired up too - they love to watch the leaves blowing around - Virgil will sit by the sidelight of the front door and watch because they get stuck in the little entryway and blow in circles! None of our other kitties even notice those but he sits there and watches - even at night. The rest watch from the patio doors - those are more open and don't have a good place for the leaves to get caught but they do have a nice wide view.

  7. You have such cute little socks, Dani!

We like a light breeze but not so much a strong wind. It's nice to sit inside on the kitty window perches with the windows open when a light breeze blowing in. :)

    purrs and hugs,

  8. I'm glad the wind didn't blow your socks off. You have the cutest little feets! I think "beanline" sounds like a very good word to start using.
